Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

No. Six basic pieces of information—gender, date of birth, general health status, tobacco use, desired coverage level and policy duration—suffice to obtain quotes. Name, address, and medical history only become necessary should you decide to submit an application.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

These are the rates each carrier provides for your health level you specified. After you apply, the actual premium the carrier determines could confirm, improve, or adjust the tier classification. Quotes shown here are reference figures only and aren't insurance offers or price guarantees.

What happens when I click Apply?

You provide your name, then your chosen quote becomes the basis for an application in the carriers' system, which continues with your information pre-entered. Application processing allows pauses and resumals, with e-signature capability. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California insurance agency (License 0B75129), processes your application.

Will I need a medical exam?

That varies based on the carrier, coverage level, and your information. Carriers with immediate approval capabilities can decide quickly for qualifying candidates; otherwise, each quote indicates if an exam is mandatory, conditional, or unnecessary.

Is a longer term better?

Select the term that aligns with when your dependents would suffer most financially: a house loan you're paying down, children still at home, business obligations. Extending the coverage period costs more monthly but freezes your rate longer. Our tool displays 10-, 15-, 20-, 25- and 30-year options for side-by-side comparison.

Does this site sell my information?

Absolutely not. Six questions don't include contact info, we don't trade or distribute your personal data, and measurement is identifier-free. Visit our privacy page for the full breakdown of data collection and handling.
